It’s been a long week.
Unexpected detours. Cold nights. Full days.

Still, I showed up.

Still slayed.

Soft lace over a structured corset.
High neck, because romance can be refined.

Bridgerton, candlelight, and dinner prepared by Kira & her hubby 👑 We sipped mocktails stronger than the tea about the ton.

Followed by @playgrndseries under lights and basslines. Braving the temps for a full circle moment. We met in the night life scene and still make time for the dance floor. 🌹

Different tables. Unique energy.
Same me. 🤍

Show up anyway.

The morning began with unexpected repairs at home, so I arrived a little later than planned.

The table, though, was set long before that. About two weeks earlier, we went searching for a space that could hold all of us for Galentine’s. I landed on Little Fino at The William Vale and it felt like Italy tucked into Brooklyn.

By the time I arrived, plates were moving and conversations layered over espresso and cocktails.

@corkywritings had the table lined with the sweetest Valentine’s touches. The kind of thoughtfulness that shifts the whole room.

Grateful for Galentine’s energy and for community that welcomes you as you are. Even if you walk in a little late. 🤍

I rushed from work to meet myself for this date and made it just in time for the opening.
Watching the chandeliers rise brought back more memories than I expected.

Porgy and Bess at the Met.

This was a solo date — one I’m glad I took the opportunity to revisit.
I hadn’t been back to the opera since grade school, so reliving the experience felt intentional.

Seeing the second to last show of the season, the cast and the orchestra were just incredible.
They even added standing room tickets for the final performance tonight, which says a lot about how special this run has been.

A reminder that some experiences stay with you long after the curtain falls.

Leaned into the season as it showed up.

It started with a quiet family holiday night — building gingerbread chalets, leaning into reality TV, laughter filling the room. 🏠🎄
Then came game nights, catching up with friends, moments that felt like little pauses in the rush. ⚡️🃏

Christmas looked a little different this year. Plans changed, but we pivoted and rose to the occasion. 👯‍♀️🥟
Thankful for the ability to connect — video calls with family, familiar faces on a screen, love still felt even when we weren’t in the same place. 🤳🫶🏽

Grateful for the moments, the people, and the gentle reminder that my favorite things are simple 🤍✨
